Job summary

Maersk is seeking a customs customer service professional with 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding or customs. You will manage vendors, coordinate documentation, and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

This role requires proficiency in English and flexibility for shift work to support Malaysia operations. The ideal candidate has experience with K1/K2/K8/K9/ZB processes and can identify bottlenecks to minimize port storage and demurrage risks.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English; strong communication and attention to detail.
• 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding or customs customer service.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customs house brokerage or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendors to ensure timely customs declarations and KPI adherence.
• Coordinate daily flow of documentation and obtain permits/OGA approvals.
• Oversee pre- and post-clearance activities including billing and duty/tax disbursements.
