Job summary

Merchantrade Asia Sdn Bhd (subsidiary Celcopon) is hiring a Customer Support Executive in Malaysia. Role includes greeting customers, handling walk-ins and inquiries, opening/maintaining accounts, and processing transactions per SOP.

You will also provide after-sales support, assist with branch operations, and ensure accurate currency and transaction balancing. Requirements include a Professional Certificate or Diploma and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, maintain eye contact, and provide assistance.
• Attend to walk-in customers and phone inquiries.
• Open and maintain customer accounts for all products and services.
• Process transactions per SOP.
• Verify customer details and assist with transaction approvals.
• Provide after-sales support and PR assistance.
• Knowledge of money service operations, currency balancing and reporting.
• Balance cash and foreign currency; reconcile drawers daily.
• Support branch operations and admin tasks.
• File transaction slips and audit documents.
• Verify daily closing checklist.
