Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a high-caliber Senior Project Manager based in Malaysia to lead complex projects from inception through execution. You will act as the main liaison for customers and internal teams, shaping strategies, managing risks, and ensuring alignment with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a single point of contact for customers after the sale and for various functional areas
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers associated with the project
• Lead planning of project strategies, including contracting, risk management, project controls, and project execution
• Coordinate with the Senior Manager to establish a realistic project schedule and monitor compliance with project objectives and management processes
• Ensure project status and progress are effectively communicated to the Project Team and customer
• Develop and communicate project budgets, staffing plans, and organization; conduct periodic financial reviews
• Manage and negotiate Variation Orders and other contract changes within scope
• Develop and implement the Commercial Performance Plan
• Produce integrated solutions to strategic issues and present recommendations to customers
