Job summary

WhiteCrow Research Pvt. Ltd. in Malaysia seeks a Customer Process Engineer (Mandarin Speaker) to bridge customers and global teams. You will review product requirements, conduct design reviews, and develop application specifications ensuring alignment with design objectives and customer processes.

You will collaborate with engineering and FAE teams, create application notes and training materials, and support NPIs while traveling within South Asia as needed.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 6–10 years of design/field experience.
• Fluent in Mandarin; English is an added advantage.
• Experience in design reviews, tolerance analysis, and root-cause problem solving.
• Experience in PPAP and production startup.
• Ability to assist the Quality group by relaying data to product design teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards related to interconnect.
• Proficiency in Creo, Ansys, and test lab equipment.
• Willingness to travel within South Asia mostly.

As a Customer Process Engineer (Mandarin Speaker), you will be responsible for...

• Communicating technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences and collaborating with global internal teams and customers.
• Establishing key customer care-abouts and contributing to and reviewing product requirements.
• Conducting joint design reviews between the company and customers during product development cycles to ensure product specifications are properly defined in line with design objectives.
• Working with local FAE and product engineering teams on new concepts.
• Developing expertise in how company products are applied based on customers’ manufacturing processes, translating customer assembly processes to company product design teams, assisting in developing company Application Spec documents, collaborating early with customers to align on the final Application Spec, and conducting sign-off reviews between the company and customers for NPI products.
• Working with company engineering teams to integrate customer application parameters into product and application specifications.
• Creating application notes, training materials, and documentation to help customers understand how to use company products, and providing product application training.
• Providing internal training to company product and FAE groups on new process technologies that customers are utilizing or exploring for future development.
• Assisting customers with test methodologies for evaluating company products and ensuring that company test methodologies are consistent with customer requirements.
• Ensuring feedback is provided to design engineers.
• Applying knowledge of SMT processes, pick-and-place equipment, robotics, cable routing, and general PCB processes and procedures.
• Assessing and collaborating with customer manufacturing teams during the product design phase.
• Troubleshooting technical issues that customers encounter with company products during trials and production.

What you already have...

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering required, 6-10 years of experience – design/field.
