SGS is seeking a detail-oriented data entry and laboratory records assistant in Kulai, Malaysia. The role focuses on registering samples, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily lab operations in accordance with ISO 17025 and SGS GCSC standards.

Ideal candidates hold SPM and preferably a Diploma or Degree, with the ability to work independently and manage administrative tasks efficiently. This position emphasizes strict adherence to HSE policies and quality control procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Data entry for sample registrations; prepares and distributes samples
• Monitor flow for incoming samples for registration
• Ensure activities comply with ISO 17025, SAMM policy, laboratory QA/QC and SGS GCSC
• Sample registration
• Monitor registration flow from receipt to distribution
• Coordinate daily operations including record keeping and admin records
• Assist in sample follow-up during absences
• Maintain necessary records as required by supervisor and keep admin records
• Adhere to SGS HSE policy and ensure safe practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

• Data entry for samples registration. Prepares and distributes samples.
• Monitor flow for incoming sample for registration.
• To ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with the ISO 17025, SAMM policy, laboratory’s QA/QC system and SGS GCSC requirement.
• Sample registration.
• Monitor sample registration flow from sample receiving to distribution of samples.
• Assist in coordinating daily operations including but not limited to record keeping, maintain good administrative records as required.
• Assist in samples follow up during his/her absences.
• Keeping of necessary records required by his/her superior and maintain good administrative records.
• Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by upholding a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carrying out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM from any field.
• Diploma or Degree from recognized university/college will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
