Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced QA/QC leader for CSA works within Malaysia. The role focuses on developing and enforcing the Project Quality Management Plan, reviewing ITPs and material submittals, and conducting site inspections to ensure project compliance and quality performance.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in QA/QC for large-scale construction, with strong communication and coordination skills across design, contractors, and client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil/structural discipline or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of QA/QC management experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in CSA quality management for industrial/high-tech facilities recommended.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan for CSA works.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans, method statements, and material submittals.
• Conduct site quality inspections, audits, and surveillance for compliance.
• Monitor contractor quality performance and drive corrective actions.
• Manage NCRs, quality observations, root cause analyses, and close-out activities.
• Review test reports, material certifications, and inspection records.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and client reps on quality matters.
• Ensure CSA works comply with specs, drawings, regulations, and standards.
• Track quality KPIs and prepare regular quality reports for stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, punch list management, and handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC management for large-scale construction projects.
• Strong experience in CSA quality management within Industrial, Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or High-Tech Facility projects.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
