Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks aSenior CSA Construction Manager in Kuala Lumpur to oversee all CSA construction activities from mobilization to handover, coordinating with Mechanical, Electrical, Process and Commissioning teams. You will review methodologies, mentor teams, and drive safety, quality and schedule adherence on large-scale facilities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience with significant CSA exposure.
• Experience delivering Industrial, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or High-Tech Facility projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and complex project environments.

Job Description

• Manage and supervise all CSA construction activities from site mobilization through project completion.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress, productivity, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate site construction activities with other disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and Commissioning teams.
• Review construction methodologies, work plans, method statements, and recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Lead site progress meetings, coordination meetings, and contractor reviews.
• Identify construction risks, issues, and potential delays, and implement mitigation measures.
• Monitor project schedules and support the resolution of construction-related challenges.
• Collaborate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Review and verify progress claims, variations, and construction reports.
• Support testing, commissioning, punch list closure, and final project handover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of construction management experience with significant exposure to CSA works.
• Experience delivering Industrial, Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or High-Tech Facility projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site management, sequencing, and contractor management.
• Experience managing multiple contractors on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and complex project environments.
