Job summary

Turner & Townsend SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced QA/QC Lead to manage quality across CSA works on large-scale projects in Malaysia.

The role focuses on developing and enforcing the Project Quality Management Plan, reviewing ITPs, procedures, and material submittals, and conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements. You will monitor contractor performance, manage NCRs, review test reports and certifications, and coordinate with design consultants and clients to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and professional experience in QA/QC for large-scale projects.
• 10+ years of experience in QA/QC management for major construction programmes.
• Proven CSA quality management experience in industrial/high-tech facilities (data centers, pharma, semiconductor).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan for CSA works.
• Review and approve ITPs, method statements, quality procedures, and material submittals.
• Conduct site quality inspections, audits, and surveillance to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor quality performance and drive corrective actions.
• Manage NCRs, quality observations, root cause analyses, and close-out activities.
• Review test reports, material certifications, mock-up approvals, and inspection records.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
• Ensure all CSA works comply with project specifications, drawings, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Track quality KPIs and prepare regular quality reports for project stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, punch list management, and final project handover documentation.

Job Description

• Manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), quality observations, root cause analyses, and close-out activities.
• Review test reports, material certifications, mock-up approvals, and inspection records.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
• Ensure all CSA works comply with project specifications, drawings, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Track quality KPIs and prepare regular quality reports for project stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, punch list management, and final project handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC management for large-scale construction projects.
• Strong experience in CSA quality management within Industrial, Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or High-Tech Facility projects.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
