Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Malaysia seeks an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality control for CSA works on large-scale projects. You will develop and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan, review ITPs and material submittals, and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specs and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC management for large-scale construction projects.
• Strong CSA quality management experience in Industrial, Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, or High-Tech Facility projects.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor the Project Quality Management Plan for CSA works.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, quality procedures, and material submittals.
• Conduct site quality inspections, audits, and surveillance to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor quality performance and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), quality observations, root cause analyses, and close-out activities.
• Review test reports, material certifications, mock-up approvals, and inspection records.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
• Ensure all CSA works comply with project specifications, drawings, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Track quality KPIs and prepare regular quality reports for project stakeholders.
• Support commissioning, punch list management, and final project handover documentation.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline
