Job summary

MR D.I.Y. Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a marketing support specialist to assist planning and execution of loyalty campaigns across Push, EDM, WhatsApp and in-app messages.

You will help with ideation, copywriting, briefs and campaign performance tracking. The role involves coordinating member engagement activities, updating app content, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and a positive member experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor member feedback and coordinate with teams to improve app and customer experience.
• Collaborate with Customer Service on membership, points and rewards inquiries.
• Coordinate with designers, agencies and vendors to meet campaigns and timelines.
• Prepare basic campaign/marketing reports using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Track marketing trends, social media and competitor activity.

Job description

Support the planning and execution of loyalty marketing campaigns, promotions and member communications across Push Notifications, EDM, WhatsApp and in-app messages.

Assist with campaign ideation, basic copywriting, creative briefs and campaign performance tracking.

Support member engagement activities, including events, workshops, roadshows and promotional activities, from planning and coordination to on-ground execution.

Update campaign banners, promotions, event information and other relevant content in the MR. D.I.Y. CLUB mobile app.

Monitor member feedback and coordinate with relevant teams to improve the mobile app and overall customer experience.

Work closely with Customer Service to support enquiries related to membership, points, rewards and other loyalty programme matters.

Coordinate with internal teams, designers, agencies and vendors to ensure campaign materials, operational matters and timelines are completed accordingly.

Prepare basic campaign and marketing reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Keep updated on marketing, social media, customer engagement and competitor trends.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field.

Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of relevant working experience are welcome to apply.

Creative, organised and interested in marketing campaigns, events, loyalty programmes and customer engagement.

Good communication, logical thinking, time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsible, detail-oriented and able to coordinate effectively with different teams and external vendors.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, brainstorming and content development.

Internship or working experience in Marketing, A&P, Digital Marketing, Events or Customer Engagement would be an added advantage.

Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop would be an added advantage.

Experience in copywriting, content creation or social media would be beneficial.

Exposure to CRM, loyalty programmes or mobile app management would be an added advantage.
