Job summary

I-City is seeking a finance and customer service professional for credit control and related tasks in Shah Alam, Malaysia. The role involves daily collection reconciliation, liaising with solicitors and financiers, and ensuring smooth billings and documentation.

The candidate should have a Finance/Accounting/Business degree, 1–4 years in credit control and customer service, and strong multilingual communication skills. Mandarin is an advantage; Wiz system knowledge is helpful.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Business Administration.
• 1–4 years in credit control and customer service, preferably in property.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin a plus.
• Experience with sub-sales and Memorandum of Transfer (MOT) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Wiz system is an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good debt-recovery skills and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify, reconcile and record daily collections accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up weekly with the solicitor for status documents for each case and Purchaser for financial status.
• Follow up with end-financier for release payment advised by the solicitor.
• Ensure timely billings, collection and loan documentation.
• Senior roles: Manage and oversee the credit control functions for property projects.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customers' inquiries and complaints via phone, email or in-person.
• Provide accurate information to customers in a friendly manner.
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and escalate when necessary.
• Liaise with relevant departments to resolve customer issues promptly.
• Identify and report customer service issues to management.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Degree in Finance / Accountancy / Business Administration.
• At least 1-4 years of working experience in credit control and customer service, preferably in the Property field
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Fluency in Mandarin will be an advantage.
• Experience in handling sub-sales and Memorandum of Transfer (MOT) will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Wiz system is an added advantage.
