Job summary

ORIX Leasing Malaysia Group is seeking a junior Credit Analyst to undertake credit appraisal and provide recommendations for loan applications, and to perform post-loan reviews and first default reporting. You will help ensure all credit reviews adhere to the company’s strategies and policies.

The role involves industry and economic studies to support business units, participation in credit-related projects, and periodic site visits for credit evaluation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent is required.
• Good command of English with strong report writing ability.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking with business sense.
• MS Office proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake credit appraisal and recommendation for applications.
• Post loan review and preparation of first default reports, moratorium / rescheduling / restructuring and final loss applications.
• Ensure credit review on all applications complies with the company credit strategy and policies.
• Conduct industry study and update on economic review for reference of all business units.
• Support and participate in credit related projects, system enhancement and process improvement.
• Conduct site visits with Business Units for credit evaluation of potential/existing clients when necessary.

Ensure credit review on all applications are in compliance with the company’s credit strategy and policies

Conduct industry study and regular update on economic review for the reference of all business units to keep abreast with the fast-changing business landscape and environment

To support and participate in credit related projects, system enhancement and process improvement.

Conduct site visit together with the Business Units for credit evaluation of potential/existing clients when necessary.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent (major in Finance or Accounting will be added advantages)

Possess good command of English with a flair for comprehensive report writing

Possess good logical thinking and analytical skills with good business sense and resourceful

Proficient in MS office applications
