Job summary

Shockwave Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Creative Event Exec who can transform client briefs into unforgettable event experiences, from concept to execution.

You’ll brainstorm bold ideas, build compelling pitch decks, mood boards and visuals, and collaborate with design, sales and operations to win projects and deliver polished presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in events, experiential marketing, creative agencies, exhibitions or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm and develop creative concepts for corporate events and brand experiences.
• Turn client briefs into fresh, exciting event ideas and themes.
• Develop creative pitch decks, mood boards, key visuals and presentation concepts.
• Create presentation decks that are modern, visually attractive and persuasive.
• Work closely with designers, sales and event operations teams to turn concepts into reality.
• Understand practical event requirements such as venue layout, production, staging and event flow.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits and brainstorming sessions when required.

We're looking for someone who can take a client's brief and transform it into an unforgettable event experience.

Salary: RM3,500 – RM6,000 depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Brainstorm and develop creative concepts for corporate events and brand experiences
• Turn client briefs into fresh, exciting event ideas and themes
• Develop creative pitch decks, mood boards, key visuals and presentation concepts
• Create presentation decks that are modern, visually attractive and persuasive
• Work closely with designers, sales and event operations teams to turn concepts into reality
• Understand practical event requirements such as venue layout, production, staging and event flow
• Participate in client meetings, site visits and brainstorming sessions when required

• Have a strong eye for design, visual storytelling and presentation
• Can create eye-catching pitch decks that sell an idea
• Understand how events are actually produced and executed
• Can balance creative ideas with what is practical and achievable
• Are comfortable presenting and explaining your ideas to clients
• Keep up with current event, design and experiential trends
• Can take ownership of a concept from initial idea through to final presentation

Experience We Value

• Minimum 2 years' experience in events, experiential marketing, creative agencies, exhibitions or related industries
• Experience developing event concepts and client pitch presentations
• Strong PowerPoint / Photoshop / Illustrator / Canva / Adobe presentation and design skills
• Knowledge of event production and operations is highly preferred
