Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Proven 2–4 years of professional Graphic Designer or Creative Designer experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma or equivalent tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse media, styles and projects.

About the role

Nabilah Bahrin (NB) Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and innovative Creative Designer to join our dynamic design team. This is a full-time position based in Alor Setar, Kedah, where you will play a crucial role in developing compelling visual content and creative solutions that drive our brand's success. As a Creative Designer, you will be at the heart of our creative process, translating strategic objectives into visually stunning and effective designs that resonate with our target audiences. This role is integral to maintaining our competitive edge in the marketplace and ensuring consistent brand excellence across all touchpoints.

What you'll be doing

• Conceptualise and develop original creative designs for digital and print media, including marketing materials, advertisements, social media content, and branding assets
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to understand project requirements and translate briefs into compelling visual concepts
• Create visually appealing layouts and designs using industry-standard design software and tools
• Ensure consistency in brand identity, visual language, and design standards across all projects and platforms
• Conduct research on design trends, competitor analysis, and audience insights to inform creative direction
• Produce high-quality final artwork ready for production and publication across various media channels
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and refine designs to meet project objectives and quality standards
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and adhering to project deadlines
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and participate actively in creative team discussions
• Stay updated on emerging design technologies, software, and best practices within the graphic design industry

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field
• Proven professional experience as a Graphic Designer or Creative Designer, typically 2-4 years in a similar role
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, or equivalent tools
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design work across different media, styles, and project types
• Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain consistency and quality in all deliverables
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into compelling visual solutions
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a passion for innovative design
• Knowledge of current design trends, marketing best practices, and digital design standards
• Preferred experience with branding, web design, UI/UX design, or multimedia production
