About the role

Nabilah Bahrin (NB) Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and creative Videographer & Photographer to join our team in Alor Setar, Kedah. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in capturing and creating visual content that brings our brand stories to life. As a key member of our creative department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality photographs and videos that resonate with our audience and support our marketing and communications objectives. This role is essential to maintaining our brand's visual identity and ensuring consistent, engaging content across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Capturing high-quality photographs and video content for various projects, campaigns, and events
• Planning and executing photoshoots and video productions, including location scouting, lighting setup, and equipment management
• Operating and maintaining professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and other cinematography tools
• Editing and post-processing photographs and video footage using industry-standard software to achieve desired visual outcomes
• Collaborating with marketing, creative, and communications teams to understand project briefs and deliver content that meets specifications
• Developing creative concepts and visual treatments that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
• Managing and organising digital asset libraries, ensuring proper filing, tagging and archiving of all content
• Staying current with industry trends, techniques and emerging technologies in photography and videography
• Providing technical support and guidance on visual content creation to other team members as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Videographer and/or Photographer, ideally with a portfolio demonstrating professional work across various genres and platforms
• Expert proficiency in photography and videography techniques, including composition, lighting, exposure and colour grading
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of video production workflows, from pre-production planning through to final delivery
• Excellent technical understanding of camera equipment, lenses, lighting rigs, microphones and other production gear
• Ability to work creatively within brand guidelines whilst bringing fresh ideas and innovative perspectives to projects
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from stakeholders
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering polished, professional-quality content
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in photography, videography, or related fields are advantageous
• Experience with drone photography/videography would be highly desirable
