Job summary

Mondiale VGL is seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead the Malaysia business. Reporting to the Director, Asia, you will oversee sales, operations, customer service, finance and people to deliver revenue, profitability and market presence.

This hands-on leadership role balances strategic planning with day-to-day management, shaping the country strategy and strengthening relationships with key customers while ensuring efficient, profitable operations.

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain is essential.
• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering commercial results.
• Ability to manage profit and loss and multi-location teams; strong business judgment.

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Country Manager to lead our Malaysia business.

Reporting to the Director, Asia, this role has overall responsibility for the performance of our Malaysia operations. You'll lead the business across sales, operations, customer service, finance and people, ensuring we continue to deliver excellent service to customers while growing revenue, profitability and market presence.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with day-to-day business management. You'll be responsible for shaping and delivering the country strategy, driving commercial growth, supporting key customer relationships and ensuring the business operates efficiently and profitably.

You will also work closely with our regional leadership team and colleagues across the Mondiale VGL network to identify opportunities for growth and strengthen our position in the Malaysian market.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with strong experience in freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain, along with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering commercial results. You'll bring sound business judgement, strong financial and operational understanding, and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers, partners and employees alike. Experience managing profit and loss responsibility and leading multi-location teams will be important.
