Job summary

Alliance Contract Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Cost Accountant to prepare and maintain standard costs, verify BOMs, and analyze material, labour and overhead variances. You will help with monthly inventory valuation and reconcile stock against records, acting as costing contact for key accounts.

You will support the Cost Manager on ad hoc tasks and bring initiative, meticulous attention to detail, and costing knowledge to the role. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this position.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Business Administration.
• 2-5 years working experience in General/Cost Accounting.
• Knowledge of mySAP (CO/MM) ERP would be an advantage.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially Power Query or Power BI.
• High degree of initiative, independent and meticulous.
• Costing knowledge is preferred, but fresh graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain standard costs, including BOM verification and costing setup in the system.
• Analyze material, labor and overhead costs, and perform actual vs standard variance analysis.
• Support monthly inventory valuation (RM, WIP, FG) and ensure transactions are properly costed.
• Reconcile physical stock against system records and investigate variances.
• Serve as costing point of contact for assigned key customer accounts.
• Support the Cost Manager on other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
