Job summary

Sperton Global AS is seeking a Cost & Finance Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for a manufacturing operation in Negeri Sembilan. You will oversee cash flow, cost accounting, and financial reporting, leveraging SAP Business One to drive accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing finance with strong costing knowledge, plus proficiency in Excel. ACCA/CMA is a plus, and you may travel to the Kuala Lumpur head office as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with strong costing knowledge.
• Experience using SAP Business One, especially Finance and Costing modules; MM knowledge is an advantage.
• ACCA or CMA qualifications are a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, monthly closing, financial statements, and management reports.
• Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Prepare and analyse product costing, standard vs. actual costs, variances, and gross profit margins.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock counts, wastage, BOM accuracy, and manufacturing costs.
• Maintain and improve cost accounting systems, financial controls, and processes.
• Utilise SAP Business One to monitor financial, inventory, production, and costing transactions.
• Handle tax compliance, SST, e-Invoice, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and authorities.
• Supervise Finance/Accounts team and collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Sales.
• Prepare periodic financial, costing, inventory, and KPI reports for management.

Location: Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan
Salary: RM8,000 – RM10,000 per month

Job Responsibilities

• Manage full set of accounts, monthly closing, financial statements, and management reports.
• Oversee cash flow, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Prepare and analyse product costing, standard vs. actual costs, manufacturing variances, and gross profit margins.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock counts, production wastage, BOM accuracy, and manufacturing costs.
• Maintain and improve cost accounting systems, financial controls, and accounting processes.
• Utilise SAP Business One to monitor financial, inventory, production, and costing transactions.
• Handle tax compliance, SST, e-Invoice, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities.

Requirements

Working Conditions

• Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
• Willingness to travel to the Kuala Lumpur Head Office when required.
