Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a Finance Manager for a manufacturing client in Seremban. The role demands a Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in the industry.

The manager will be responsible for monitoring cash flow, preparing budgets, and liaising with stakeholders. Proficiency in UBS and QNE Accounting Systems is essential, with a preference for candidates fluent in Mandarin to engage with clients.

Company Overview

We are representing our client, a manufacturing company that specializes in the development and production of fastening solutions, including a wide range of fastening tools and industrial-grade fastening accessories for diverse applications, in the search for a Finance Manager to join the team.

Job Responsibilities

• Report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
• Review tax computations and Familiar with import and export taxes
• Review supporting documents for bank submissions
• Monitor Banking Acceptance (BA) facilities balance
• Review and monitor weekly cash flow reports for the Managing Director
• Review bank reconciliations (bankbook vs. bank statement and bankbook vs. QNE Accounting System)
• Prepare stock costing and report to Deputy General Manager
• Compare financial statements against budget and analyze variancesPrepare monthly and annual budgets (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
• Prepare financial information (e.g., top 10 customers & suppliers, financial statements, cash flow, forecasts) for merchant bankers and auditors
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, merchant bankers, lawyers, and relevant government authorities

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / Professional Degree / Master's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience preferably in manufacturing industry
• Must be familiar with manufacturing cost accounting
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
• Experience in cost accounting and financial planning
• Proficiency in UBS & QNE Accounting Systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Preferably specialized in Finance – General / Cost Accounting or equivalent
