Job summary

Wing Tai Malaysia Property Management Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Manager/Senior Executive, Cost & Contract to lead cost, contract and commercial management across building projects. The role covers tendering, cost planning, budgets, variances and final accounts, with close coordination with QS consultants and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in quantity surveying or related field, with 5+ years in relevant roles and leadership capability for potential advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in quantity surveying or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in quantity surveying, cost management, contract administration or commercial management.
• Leadership capability for Manager level (8+ years preferred).
• Experience in property development or property developer environment preferred.
• Experience coordinating QS consultants and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of cost planning, tenders, contracts, variations, and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage tender pre-qualification, documentation, evaluation and recommendations.
• Prepare/review quantity take-offs, cost estimates and bills of quantities.
• Monitor budgets, variances, forecasts and cost-to-complete.
• Attend site valuations and verify payment certificates.
• Review variations, claims, and final accounts; manage commercial submissions.
• Coordinate with QS consultants and contractors; advise management on procurement and cost control.
• Prepare cost reports and project financial performance updates.
