Job summary

Wing Tai Malaysia Property Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a Manager/Senior Executive, Cost & Contract to lead cost management for major projects in Penang. You will manage tendering, quantify costs, review Bills of Quantities, and ensure budgets align with approvals.

You will coordinate with QS consultants, review variations and final accounts, monitor cash flow, and provide commercial advice to project teams.

Qualifications

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in QS / construction / contract management or related field.
Minimum 5 years in Quantity Surveying, Cost/Contract/Commercial Management.
Leadership capability favored for Senior Manager level.

Responsibilities

Manage contractor pre-qualification and tender exercises with documentation and evaluation.
Prepare/review quantity take-offs, cost estimates, cost plans and Bills of Quantities.
Monitor budgets, costs, variances, forecasts and cash flow to stay within budgets.
Attend site valuations and verify progress for payment certificates.
Review and assess variations, claims, and cost implications with QS consultants and contractors.
Coordinate QS consultants on cost and contract matters and ensure timely resolution.
Review Final Accounts and identify cost optimisation opportunities.
Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial recommendations for stakeholders.
