About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Corporate Planning Manager to lead strategic planning, business performance analysis and long-term growth initiatives. This role partners closely with senior management and oversees group-level strategy, budgeting, forecasting, corporate development and transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Corporate Development
- Lead annual strategic planning cycles and long-term corporate priorities.
- Conduct market, competitor, and industry analysis.
- Drive corporate development initiatives including M&A, partnerships, and business integration.
- Prepare feasibility studies and business cases for strategic investments.
Business Performance & Financial Analysis
- Develop analytics frameworks, dashboards, KPIs, and performance scorecards.
- Analyse financial and operational data to provide insights.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Resource Planning
- Oversee group-level budgeting and capital planning.
- Ensure financial plans support strategic objectives.
- Perform scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and financial modelling.
Strategic Projects & Transformation
- Lead strategic initiatives and transformation programs.
- Support restructuring, post-merger integration, and process improvements.
- Drive cost optimisation and organisational enhancements.
Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Present insights in clear, visual, and actionable formats.
- Engage senior stakeholders as a strategic advisor.
Capability Building & Change Management
- Develop and mentor a high-performing planning and analytics team.
- Champion digital transformation and analytics adoption.
- Lead change management efforts.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in corporate planning, strategy, or business analysis.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
- Experience in M&A, corporate development, or integration projects is an advantage.
