Job summary

Fichtner is seeking a permanent Talent Acquisition Specialist to support energy sector recruitment in Malaysia, with a focus on sourcing top engineers for local and international roles.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, build strong relationships with hiring managers and applicants, coordinate staffing plans, and participate in salary negotiations. The office is located at Plaza Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, with flexible working hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, Management or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting focused on engineering.
• Experience hiring local and international candidates via multiple sourcing channels.

Responsibilities

• Full lifecycle recruitment of candidates in the field of energy including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and extending job offers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both hiring managers and applicants.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
• Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks.
• Plan interview and selection procedures.
• Assess candidates’ information, including CVs, portfolios and references.
• Participate in salary negotiations.

Your Tasks

• Full lifecycle recruitment of candidates in the field of energy including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and extending job offers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both hiring managers and applicants
• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
• Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
• Plan interview and selection procedures
• Assess candidates’ information, including C.Vs., portfolios and references
• Participate in salary negotiations

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, Management or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting focused on engineering
• Experience in hiring different levels of local and international candidates by using multiple sourcing channels.
• Previous work experience in the engineering consulting industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of local work law is preferred.
• Experienced in working in an international environment using software such as MS Teams and One Note.
• Fluent written and spoken English (C2)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with an ability to work under pressure.
• Valid work permit for Malaysia
