• Bachelor's degree in HR or Business with 8-10 years blending Talent Acquisition and HR generalist skills within energy, oil & gas, engineering, or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record in specialist/technical hiring with strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and local HR practices.
• Autonomous, pragmatic and execution-driven, able to operate across time zones in a fast-paced, international setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as hands-on Local HR lead for the Kuala Lumpur office, reporting to Europe-based Senior HR Lead.
• Manage end-to-end employee life-cycle including contracts, employee relations, compliance, payroll, benefits and visas.
• Lead full-cycle talent acquisition for technical, project-based and specialist roles; track KPIs and maintain pipelines.
• Collaborate with local managers on staffing priorities, onboarding and day-to-day people management.

• Local HR Point of Contact: Serve as the hands-on HR lead for the Kuala Lumpur office, reporting to the Senior HR Lead based in Europe and balancing daily operations with recruitment.
• Operations & Compliance: Manage the complete employee life-cycle, overseeing contracts, employee relations, local labour law compliance, and vendor management (payroll, benefits, visas).
• Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end hiring for technical, project-based, and specialist roles, while tracking recruitment KPIs and maintaining strong talent pipelines.
• Workforce Partnering: Collaborate directly with local managers on staffing priorities, organisational structure, on-boarding, and day-to-day people management.
