Job summary

ParagonCorp seeks a proactive CSR and Corporate Affairs professional in Malaysia to manage CSR programs, build partnerships with NGOs and government bodies, and coordinate external communications. The role blends social impact with corporate affairs to strengthen ParagonCorp's reputation locally and with key stakeholders.

The candidate will lead media relations, craft compelling CSR stories, monitor external developments, and participate in crisis communications when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant CSR/Corporate Affairs experience.
• Experience managing CSR programs, partnerships, and external relationships.
• Strong media relations and corporate communications experience.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Malaysia-based.

We are looking for a proactive and experienced professional to manage CSR initiatives and support corporate communications, media relations, and external stakeholder engagement in Malaysia.

This role combines social impact with corporate affairs, building meaningful community partnerships while strengthening Paragon’s reputation and relationships with key external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage CSR programs aligned with Paragon’s values, business priorities, and community needs.
• Build partnerships with NGOs, community organizations, government agencies, and other external stakeholders.
• Coordinate CSR initiatives from planning and execution to impact evaluation and reporting.
• Manage media relations activities, including press releases, media enquiries, interviews, and corporate communications.
• Develop compelling CSR stories and communication materials to showcase Paragon’s social impact.
• Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and external developments that may affect the company’s reputation.
• Support stakeholder engagement, reputation management, and crisis communications when needed.
• Represent Paragon at CSR events, media engagements, and relevant external forums in Malaysia.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in CSR, Corporate Affairs, Public Relations, Communications, or External Relations.
• Proven experience managing CSR programs, community partnerships, and external stakeholder relationships.
• Strong experience in media relations and corporate communications.
• Good understanding of Malaysia’s media, community, and stakeholder landscape.
• Experience engaging with government agencies, NGOs, or industry associations is an advantage.
• Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in reputation or crisis management is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Based in Malaysia and comfortable representing Paragon in external engagements.
