Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd seeks a Technician - Engineering (Control & Instrumentation) to maintain and enhance plant automation, instrumentation, and control systems. You will troubleshoot, modify, repair, and implement improvements while guiding the Control & Instrumentation team to uphold safety and quality standards.

You will support installation, testing, and commissioning of new automation solutions and contribute to achieving plant targets such as OEE and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

Certificate/ Diploma in Electrical, Control Instrumentation, Mechatronic Engineering or Equivalent.
Minimum 1 year working with Control and instrumentation. Fresh graduates with good attitude and initiative considered.
Knowledge on wiring, sensors and mechanical part installation.
Knowledge on PLC (Siemens, Fatek).

Responsibilities

Execute breakdown, preventive, and corrective maintenance for automation systems and equipment.
Perform daily checklists, inspections, tuning, and alignment of automation systems.
Troubleshoot and repair control and instrumentation equipment across production lines.
Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of new automation systems and equipment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
