Job summary

Hartalega Holdings Berhad is seeking a Senior Engineer-Engineering (Improvement) to lead process optimization, technology deployment, and Kaizen initiatives across manufacturing operations in Malaysia. The role requires applying Industry 4.0 concepts and GMP knowledge to drive productivity and cost improvements.

The ideal candidate will mentor engineers and technicians, analyze performance data, run validation studies, and coordinate with stakeholders to implement sustainable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of plant maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 (IoT/Automation), manufacturing technologies, and GMP.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical plant systems (motors, pumps, piping, utilities).
• Experience in maintenance planning and execution.
• Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics
• Familiarity with plant safety standards and operational controls
• Skilled in troubleshooting and technical problem-solving

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization and equipment improvement projects.
• Analyze operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct trials, studies, and validation activities.
• Support deployment of new technologies and engineering solutions.
• Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
