Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking an Engineering Technician to support plant and process operations in Malaysia. You will perform breakdown, preventive, and improvement maintenance across production lines, QA, utilities and offices, ensuring equipment reliability.

The role requires electrical and mechanical knowledge, with preference for 1–2 years' experience; fresh graduates with the right attitude may be considered. PW2/AO certificates are a plus.

Qualifications

• SPM/Certificate/Diploma in electrical or mechanical fields.
• PW2/AO certificates are an advantage.
• 1–2 years' experience in electrical/mechanical industry preferred.
• Fresh graduates with a good attitude may be considered.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown, preventive, and improvement maintenance across all NGC premises (Production lines, QA, Warehouse, Utilities, Compounding, Offices).
• Perform electrical panel isolation, troubleshooting, and wiring tasks.
• Execute LOTO procedures for all isolation work.
• Troubleshoot machines and perform necessary repairs or modifications.
• Conduct annual maintenance execution work and complete within the planned timeline.
• Monitor and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Prepare, maintain, and update all maintenance documentation and records in compliance with ISO standards.
• Liaise with other departments or plants for activities involving multiple teams.
• Rectify complaints from internal and external customers related to equipment issues.
• Promote teamwork and uphold safety practices in all maintenance activities.
