Suling Hill Development Sdn Bhd. is seeking a diligent Contracts Executive with a focus on contract administration and cost management for a major industrial park project in Northern Malaysia.
You will collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to manage contracts, estimate costs, track budgets, and support tendering and procurement while ensuring compliance and value optimization across the project lifecycle.
Suling Hill Development Sdn Bhd (“Suling Hill Development”) is a 50:50 joint venture between Northern Industrial Park Sdn Bhd (“NIP”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of AME Elite Consortium Berhad (“AME”), and Majestic Gen Sdn Bhd.
Established to spearhead the development of Northern TechValley @ BKE, Suling Hill Development combines AME’s proven expertise in industrial park development with Majestic Gen’s strategic land development capabilities: delivering next-generation, sustainable industrial ecosystems in northern Malaysia.
We’re seeking a results-driven Contracts Executive with experience in contract administration and cost management, particularly within infrastructure and industrial developments.
Work closely with internal project teams, consultants, and contractors to support the effective administration of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in cost estimation, feasibility studies, budget tracking, and cash flow monitoring to support commercial decision-making.
Review construction drawings and contract documentation to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
Support tender processes, including preparation, evaluation, coordination, and recommendation for award, ensuring value for money and compliance.
Assist in reviewing contractual risks and terms, and elevate potential issues in a timely manner.
Provide input and recommendations on the appointment of consultants, contractors, and suppliers for current and future projects.
Conduct material and specification research to support cost optimisation and value engineering initiatives.
Maintain and support procurement systems, records, and contract documentation to ensure proper governance and audit readiness.
Stay updated on internal procedures, statutory requirements, and industry best practices relevant to contract and cost management.
To possess the skill of taking off quantities and cost estimation.
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
2–3 years of relevant experience in contracts administration or cost management, preferably within property development or industrial projects.
Familiar with local tendering processes and standard construction contracts (PAM experience is an advantage).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Project and measurement software such as TAS/TRB or equivalent is an added advantage.
Strong numerical ability with good attention to detail.
Effective communicator, able to coordinate confidently with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Well-organised, able to work under pressure, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
