CLARIANT OIL SERVICES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. invites you to join as a Contract Technical Service Engineer based in Sabah. In this contract role you will deliver technical expertise and support to our oilfield operations across the region.

The role requires a chemical engineering degree and at least three years in technical service or offshore oilfield engineering, with strong communication and teamwork to succeed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering with focus on chemical, mechanical or petroleum engineering
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical service or offshore oil field engineering role
• Strong understanding of oilfield operations, production processes and equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide daily activity reports to customer upon field visit completed
• Prepare monthly chemical reports and submit to client
• Prepare presentation slides for progress meetings bi-monthly
• Compile and submit chemical database to customer
• Perform chemical performance at site
• Provide technical service in application maintenance and chemical monitoring
• Comply with service requirements as requested by customer
• Perform chemical selection tests, field trials and routine activities to customers
• Monitor and update chemical performance, injectivity variance and stock onboard
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisor for delivery planning
• Contribute with QESHA program as per ESHA target

About the role Join Clariant Oil Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. as a Contract Technical Service Engineer based in Sabah. You will be a key part of the team, working to ensure the successful delivery of Clariant's services and solutions to clients in the region.

What you'll be doing

• To prepare and provide daily activity reports to customer upon field visit completed.
• To prepare and provide monthly chemical report and submit to client
• To prepare presentation slides for progress meeting with customer by bi-monthly
• To compile and submit chemical database to customer
• To perform chemical performance at site
• To provide technical service in application maintenance, chemical monitoring
