Job summary

Pan Asia Software Solutions is seeking a System Analyst to work on-site in Petaling Jaya on a contract basis. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, document functional specs, and ensure solutions meet specifications across the full lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of System Analyst experience in banking or financial services, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

3+ years of System Analyst experience.
Experience in banking, financial services, or financial applications.
Strong exposure to application integration and technical solutioning.
Experience across the full application lifecycle, including deployment and production support.
Experience in code migration, implementation, and environment management.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to support critical implementation activities outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities

Gather and document business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
Evaluate existing systems and workflows and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with developers and IT teams to implement solutions per specifications.
Perform system testing and validation; troubleshoot system issues.
Prepare clear documentation and participate in user training and support.
Maintain alignment between business objectives and IT solutions.
