Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a seasoned professional to lead growth of the Contract Financing Loan Portfolio within Business Corporate Banking. You will guide Business Centres and Relationship Managers in analysis, credit paper preparation and risk mitigation, while performing technical due diligence and project monitoring.

The role requires 5–7 years in construction or contract management, with a strong grasp of contracts, cash flows, procurement, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, project management or contract administration.
• Ability to analyze technical, commercial and operational risks of projects.
• Professional Engineer or Graduate Engineer registration is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee growth of the Loan Portfolio for Contract Financing within BCB.
• Guide BCs and RMs in analysis, preparation of credit papers and risk mitigation.
• Conduct technical due diligence on project documents, cost estimates and cash flows.
• Monitor projects through site visits and milestone verifications to identify risks early.
• Preserve asset quality and collaborate with related departments within BCB.
