Job summary

DENSO Malaysia is seeking a Temporary Facilities Executive (contract 6 months) to oversee civil and structural works across its facilities. You will review drawings, supervise on-site construction, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, 2+ years of hands-on project exposure, and is proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office. On-site coordination with contractors and timely technical reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of civil/structural engineering experience with hands-on construction project exposure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD), project management, site supervision, and technical report writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering work across DENSO Malaysia facilities, including design reviews, structural integrity assessments, compliance checks, and technical oversight for repairs, retrofits, and new builds while ensuring contractor safety, quality, and risk mitigation.
• Review and approve civil and structural design drawings and calculations for construction projects.
• Supervise construction works on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and structural integrity assessments during and after construction.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for management and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local authority regulations and company policies.
