Job summary

Entegris is seeking an Engineer II, Continuous Improvement at our Kulim plant to lead plant-wide CI efforts, drive Lean deployment, and deliver training across teams. The role focuses on productivity, waste reduction, and cost optimization, with strong collaboration with Operations to implement sustained improvements.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering with 3–5 years of CI/lean experience andLean/Six Sigma certification.

Qualifications

• Lead plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations to identify, analyze, and implement process improvements.
• Drive Lean deployment at the plant level (Tiered Daily Management, 5S, SMED, etc.).
• Plan and conduct Kaizen events and train teams on Lean methodologies (PDCA, VSM).
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to assess processes and derive improvement plans.
• Evaluate transfers on workflows and resource allocation for optimization.
• Deliver training and awareness programs to promote Lean Sigma culture.
• Use data mining to uncover cost-saving opportunities and track performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive plant-wide CI initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Operations teams to identify, analyze, and implement process improvements focused on productivity, waste reduction, and cost optimization.
• Drive Lean deployment at the plant level, emphasizing Tiered Daily Management, 5S + Safety, SMED, and other CI initiatives.
• Plan and conduct Kaizen events; provide training and mentorship on Lean methodologies including PDCA, VSM for current and future states.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to assess current processes, uncover inefficiencies, and convert data into actionable insights.
• Evaluate implications of new product transfers on workflows, resource allocation, and optimization strategies.
• Deliver internal training and awareness programs to promote Lean Sigma principles and CI culture.
• Utilize data mining techniques to uncover cost-saving opportunities and implement performance tracking.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks to support organizational objectives.
