Job summary

Itcan Pte. Limited in Petaling Jaya is seeking a Content Moderator- Arabic Associate (Non Native) on a contract, on-site basis. The role requires reviewing, screening, and moderating Arabic and English content to ensure platform guidelines and legal compliance. Freshers with a Diploma or Degree are welcome, with training provided.

Content Moderator- Arabic Associate (Non Native-Locals only)

Role Description The Content Moderator - Arabic Associate (Non Native) is a contract, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This role involves reviewing, screening, and moderating user-generated content in Arabic and English to ensure compliance with platform guidelines and legal requirements. The associate will assess text, images, and videos for appropriateness, accuracy, and potential risks, and take appropriate action such as approving, flagging, or escalating content. Daily activities include documenting decisions, following escalation protocols, and maintaining productivity and quality targets. The role also requires collaboration with support, technical, and training teams to improve moderation workflows and user safety, while providing clear feedback and reports to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Open for freshers with Diploma / Degree (Any Stream), Training will be provided

• Fresher's with Diploma or bachelor's degree in any discipline, or equivalent work experience in a relevant role.
• Strong analytical skills to review, interpret, and make sound decisions on large volumes of content.

• Prior experience in content moderation, trust and safety, customer operations, or related fields is an advantage.
• Availability to work on-site in Petaling Jaya, possibly on rotating shifts, weekends, or public holidays as required.
