Job summary

usmile in Malaysia is seeking a senior content lead to plan, produce, and optimize short-form video campaigns, with a strong focus on promoting products on TikTok. You will oversee scriptwriting, shooting, and editing, while steering seeding strategies and content operations to drive brand growth.

You will lead a creative team, mentor creators, and use data analysis to improve reach and engagement, ensuring high-quality outputs aligned with marketing goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above with 4+ years in short video content marketing or operations.
• Proven experience leading teams of content creators.
• Strong script planning, video production, and editing skills.
• Excellent data analysis and ability to use Excel/PPT for reporting.
• Familiar with TikTok/Facebook/Instagram trends and guidelines.

Job description

Lead the planning, production, and optimization of creative short-form video content to drive product promotion and brand growth, with a primary focus on TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Production: Lead the planning, scriptwriting, shooting, and editing of creative content (videos/text/images) for short videos promoting products.
• Content Strategy Execution: Develop and execute content seeding strategies, primarily on TikTok, and implement content creation and operation plans.
• Trend & Innovation: Conduct in-depth analysis of viral short videos promoting products; combine platform trends and industry high-quality content examples to continuously innovate content formats and effects.
• Data Analysis & Optimization: Monitor the performance of content distribution; conduct data tracking and integrated analysis (including traffic, marketing, and user data) to ensure the effectiveness, quality, and quantity of deliverables.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the content creation team, ensuring high-quality output and alignment with overall marketing goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above from a full-time university, with 4+ years of experience in short video content marketing or operations. Candidates with a background in the personal care and beauty industry or related FMCG sectors are preferred.
• Proven experience in leading teams, with the ability to effectively manage, mentor, and develop content creators.
• Excellent script planning, video production, and editing skills. Strong data analysis skills, proficient in using office software such as Excel and PPT for data analysis and report writing.
• Strong online awareness, user-centric thinking, logical reasoning, and learning ability.
• Familiar with the content guidelines and trends of TikTok/Facebook/Instagram platforms, with rich experience in video creation.
• Strong communication, coordination, and project-driving skills.
