Job summary

New Chen Motor Credit Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a content creator to build content across New Chen’s ecosystem, including Seven Oaks Bakery Cafe, with a focus on UGC and short-form storytelling.

You will shoot and edit short-form videos, direct on-camera talent, and develop hooks and scripts. Junior creators start from RM3,000; experienced creators can earn up to RM5,000, based on portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of UGC and short-form storytelling.
• Understands hooks, pattern interrupts, pacing, retention and calls to action.
• Able to take content from idea to final edit independently.
• Fast, observant and tuned into social media culture.
• Comfortable managing multiple brands and deadlines.
• Confident directing people on camera; on-camera ability is a bonus.
• Available for selected events and weekend shoots when required.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for someone who understands why people stop scrolling—not only how to shoot and edit.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop UGC-led and short-form content strategies

• Create strong hooks, concepts, scripts and storyboards

• Shoot and edit TikToks, Reels and YouTube Shorts

• Produce content for products, campaigns, events and brand personalities

• Direct staff, customers, talents and creators during shoots

• Track watch time, retention, shares and engagement—and improve accordingly

• Maintain a distinct voice and visual style for every brand

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

SALARY

Junior creators start from RM3,000.
