Job summary

Kaijiu Production (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to develop engaging short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, Rednote, Threads and other platforms. You will shoot with a smartphone or DJI Osmo, edit using CapCut, and collaborate with the Creative Director to shape company IP and branding.

You will brainstorm ideas, write hooks and captions, and stay in tune with current trends while producing content from productions, events and daily office activities.

Job description

This role involves creating engaging short-form content for the company's social media platforms including Instagram, Rednote, TikTok, Threads and other relevant platforms. You will shoot videos using a smartphone, DJI Osmo or other simple filming equipment, edit content using CapCut or similar applications, and develop behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, production-related and company branding content. You will work closely with the Creative Director to develop content ideas and company IP, capture content during productions, events and daily office activities, and explore new content formats while continuously suggesting fresh ideas.

Key responsibilities

Brainstorm creative and engaging content ideas for the company's social media platforms

Create short-form content for Instagram, Rednote, TikTok, Threads and other relevant platforms

Shoot videos using a smartphone, DJI Osmo or other simple filming equipment

Edit short-form videos using CapCut or similar editing applications

Create behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, production-related and company branding content

Write simple captions, hooks, scripts and social media copy

Keep up with current social media trends, formats, memes and popular content styles

Work closely with the Creative Director to develop content ideas and company IP

Capture content during productions, events and daily office activities

Assist in managing and organising social media content and posting schedules

About you

Able to speak and write in Chinese

Able to speak and understand English and Bahasa Melayu

Creative, imaginative and able to think outside the box

Familiar with social media platforms and short-form video content

Able to shoot videos using a smartphone or DJI Osmo

Able to edit videos using CapCut

Basic understanding of framing, composition, lighting and visual storytelling

Able to work independently and turn ideas into completed content

Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

Willing to learn, experiment and try new content styles
