Job summary

SoyaCincau.com in Malaysia is seeking a Content Creator (English) to join our dynamic tech team. You’ll craft engaging articles, social posts, and video scripts that explain complex tech topics in a clear and entertaining way for a broad audience.

You’ll spot trends in tech, EV, and digital culture, research deeply, and present information quickly and accurately. Flexible media formats, camera-ready delivery, and collaboration across teams are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of online writing experience (bonus points for tech publications!)
• Strong understanding of tech, culture, EV, and latest trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with online publishing platforms and tools (WordPress)
• Experience filming with a smartphone
• Comfortable presenting in front of a camera
• Experience with publishing on video platform (YT) and Social Media Platforms (Facebook, TikTok, IG, X)
• Experience with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
• Experience with editing on Canva
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment
• Open-mindedness and a genuine passion for learning

Responsibilities

• Content Alchemist: Craft engaging content across various formats; think website articles, fun and informative social media posts, and even video scripts! We’re talking about the latest tech trends, gadgets, telco plans, and anything digital that impacts Malaysians.
• EVangelist: News, car reviews, long-form features… you’re the spark that starts the conversation! Create deep-dive charging guides, fun social reels of the latest BYD or Tesla launches, and video scripts that capture the “silent” thrill of driving.
• Tech Guru in the Making: Develop your expertise in a specific tech area and become a trusted source of information for our readers.
• Consumer Champion: Help Malaysians make smart choices by creating content that simplifies complex products, plans, and services.
