Job summary

Maybank seeks a proactive Sales Advisor to drive mortgage and salary financing business in Penang. You will identify customer needs, propose suitable banking solutions, and build lasting relationships with clients and referral partners.

In this role, you will participate in sales and marketing activities, deliver on sales targets, and ensure compliance with bank policies. Fresh graduates with a diploma and strong English & Bahasa Malaysia communication are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates with strong interest in financial and sales advisory.
• Diploma holder (or equivalent) in any relevant qualification.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills and a team player.
• Good communication skills in engaging with all parties.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new business focusing on mortgage and salary financing.
• Responsible for sales fulfilment on Mortgage and Salary Financing.
• Participate in sales and marketing activities (property launches, seminars, payroll, product launches).
• Emphasise focus products (mortgage and salary financing) by identifying customer needs.
• Deliver the strategic intent for mortgage and salary financing (target segment, portfolio rebalancing, Islamic penetration, digital and credit protection).
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships and referrals with lawyers, real estate agents, developers, valuers, payroll companies.

Job description

• To acquiring of new business focusing on Primary Focus; mortgage, salary financing and Secondary Focus; credit protection and credit card.
• To responsible for sales fulfilment on Mortgage and Salary Financing.
• To participate in all sales and marketing activities e.g. property launches, seminar selling, pocket talk, payroll and product launching.
• To emphasis on the focus products i.e. mortgage and salary financing via successfully identifying customers’ needs whilst enhancing at all times the overall relationship between Maybank and its customer.
• To deliver the strategic intend for mortgage and salary financing i.e. target segment, mortgage portfolio rebalancing, Islamic penetration, digital and credit protection.
• To establish and maintain strong customer relationship and close contacts with various parties for referrals i.e. lawyers, real estate agents, housing developers, and property valuers, payroll companies, selected GLCs and etc.
• To perform consistently in meeting and exceeding sales target set.
• To adhere the compliance and internal Bank's policy.
