Your Impact
- Lead & drive technology design, implementation, execution, and/or optimization for projects/accounts to accelerate customer outcomes.
- Provide/assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance for Cisco technologies.
- Assist the deployment of enterprise solutions tailored to customer environments, applying the LCS framework.
- Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design.
- Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate issues.
- Jointly create and deliver customer collateral, portals, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Support customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services.
- Align with and support company policies and processes and utilize relevant tools to efficiently execute the role and support Professional Services’ strategies and goals.
- Demonstrates understanding on relevant technology and delivery methods.

Role and specific responsibilities
- Work with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the strategy/deployment/optimization of Cisco services and solutions in Japanese environment. Assist with task/project implementation for assigned engagements.
- Support implementing new techniques and methodologies utilized in customer delivery and share lessons learned with the broader team.
- Jointly creates and reviews project work e.g. Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation/ Change Management Plans.
- Builds and/or use test environments as the need arises to resolve moderate problems & compatibility issues.
- Understand how software skills and tools to configure, deploy and/or tackle Cisco products and solutions.
- Acts as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements. Assures accurate and quick resolution of major customer problems across an appropriate range of technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluent in Japanese is a must. (JLPT-N1 or equivalent level is highly desired)
- Has experience in working with Japanese company and understands Japanese business cultures.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in network’s technical lifecycle service including Planning, Design, Implementation, and Optimization of Enterprise Solutions. The candidate needs to have minimum 1 year of enterprise customer related project experience with Routers and Switches.
- Good understanding of End-to-end Enterprise Architectures, with a baseline focus on Routers/Switches with Enterprise related technologies.
- Good knowledge in Enterprise related NW protocols/technologies such as Data Center, ACI, SD-Access, SD-WAN, Security etc.
- Associate level (e.g. CCNA) or equivalent relevant certification desired. (CCNP or higher certification is a plus)
- Work experiences in Cloud and Virtualization technologies such as Dockers and Kubernetes, Amazon Web services, OpenStack, etc. are plus.
- Good technical writing skills and have experience in writing high and low-level designs (including drawings), test, MOP, and implementation plans.
- Developing presentation skills. Shares information and communicates clearly with team members to complete deliverable. Encourages and accepts feedback.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills, experience working directly with customers, and ability to relate to customer representatives at various levels.
- The candidate is a distributed team member often working with people from different cultures and geographies and effectively collaborates with internal Cisco.
- Receives moderate supervision. Follows established procedures. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.
- Certification in AWS/Google/Oracle, RedHat, DevOps (i.e., Cisco DevNet), etc. is a plus.
