Job summary

Global View Engineering is seeking a site safety professional to conduct safety inspections, develop safety plans, and train site personnel across ongoing projects in Malaysia.

You will investigate accidents, monitor daily activities, liaise with managers and subcontractors, keep records for compliance, and prepare reports for authorities. This role emphasizes continuous safety improvements and proactive risk management across site operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings to reinforce safety awareness and best practices among site personnel
• Developing, implementing and maintaining comprehensive site safety plans tailored to project requirements and risk profiles
• Providing health and safety induction and training to all site personnel, ensuring they understand their obligations and emergency procedures
• Investigating accidents, near‑misses and safety incidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Monitoring daily construction activities to ensure adherence to safe working practices and stopping unsafe work immediately when necessary
• Liaising with project managers, contractors and subcontractors to ensure safety standards are maintained throughout project delivery
• Maintaining comprehensive safety records, statistics and documentation for regulatory compliance and continuous improvement
• Preparing health and safety reports for management and relevant authorities as required
• Identifying and recommending improvements to safety systems, equipment and processes
• Conducting regular safety inspections and audits across construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations
