Job summary

HTY Construction in Penor, Pahang is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of construction projects. This is a full-time, on-site role with potential relocation if a project is completed.

You will lead crews and subcontractors, monitor safety and quality standards, resolve bottlenecks, and provide regular progress reports to the Site Manager while coordinating with clients, architects and engineers to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as Site Supervisor or Foreperson in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and motivate staff on site.
• Familiarity with construction regulations, safety standards and quality control processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the work of construction crews, tradespeople and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Monitoring site safety, quality, productivity and compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Identifying and resolving issues or bottlenecks that could impact project timelines and budgets.
• Maintaining detailed records and providing regular progress reports to the Site Manager.
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Providing on-the-job training and mentorship to less experienced members of the construction crew.
