Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years engineering experience after tertiary education with 3+ years in commercial mixed development projects of similar size and complexity.
• Required skills include organizing, planning, prioritizing, time management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Attend necessary meetings with clients or subcontractors during project stages.
• Receive instructions from construction managers and distribute to subcontractors; engineers manage day-to-day site work, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
• Prepare detailed design and engineering of the entire electrical system.
• Plan resources and control materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure cost control, maintain project timeline and manage manpower resources.
• Attend site progress meetings and report to Construction Manager.
• Frontline contact with Civil and SWCs' representatives on site.
• Monitor daily site progress and update the site progress report.
• Identify complex problems and develop options; implement solutions.
• Use logic to assess strengths/weaknesses of alternatives and resolve engineering issues.

• To attend all necessary meeting with clients or subcontractors during various stages of the project.
• Receives instructions from construction managers and distribute to subcontractor accordingly. The engineers shall take charge of day-to-day running and coordination of all site works, inspection and include testing and commissioning.
• To prepare detailed design and engineering of entire Electrical system.
• Carry out resources planning and control of materials, tools and equipment ordered and delivered.
• To ensure cost control, maintain project timeline and manage manpower resources for the project.
• To attend to site progress meeting and site technical issues and report to Construction Manager.
• Will be the frontline contact with Civil and SWCs’ representatives on site.
• Monitor daily site progress and update programme on the site progress report.
• Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths & weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Handle and resolve technical and engineering problems.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic) or equivalent.
• The Electrical Engineer shall have minimum of Five (5) years engineering experience after tertiary education with at least Three (3) years relevant experience in commercial mixed development projects of a similar size and complexity.
