Job summary

Shiangly Builder Sdn Bhd in Bukit Mertajam is seeking a procurement executive to support the Contract and Project departments with supplier evaluation, sourcing and PO management.

You will build strong supplier relationships, ensure cost-effective purchases, and coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with contract specifications and project requirements. Fresh graduates with the right mindset are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Diploma in Business Studies/Administrative or equivalent.
• Min. 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel & SQL; strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Execute and perform procurement activities in support of Contract & Project Departments.
• Evaluate suppliers, products and services.
• Source approved materials, products, machinery and accessories.
• Establish alternative suppliers; ensure cost-effective purchases meeting standards.
• Negotiate processes and terms for purchases and deliveries.
• Issue, follow up and maintain all Purchase Orders and deliveries; coordinate with other departments.
• Coordinate with Contract/Project Department to ensure compliance with contract specifications
• Review product specifications and pricing; prepare cost analyses reports
• Maintain positive supplier relationships; assist Contract Department with admin tasks.
