Job summary

TECHNOLGENT SDN BHD is seeking a Purchasing professional in Malaysia to support sourcing, tendering, and procurement for construction projects. You will issue purchase orders, track delivery schedules, source quotations, prepare cost comparisons and Bill of Quantities, and assist in measurement and tender submissions.

Diploma in Quantity Surveying is required; experience in electrical & construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Preferably candidates with working experience in Electrical & Construction industry.
• Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Possess good negotiation skills, meticulous, independent, and able to work in fast-pace environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist to source for quotation and prepare comparison
• Assist in taking of measurement, prepare BQ
• Assist in tender process and submission matter
• Issue purchase orders, keep track of delivery schedules to meet project schedule
• Sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers to meet the requirements of our construction projects
• Negotiating favorable terms and prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement
