Job summary

Sotiras Design & Construction in Malaysia seeks an experienced construction professional to lead site operations and ensure works meet drawings, specifications and schedules. You will coordinate M&E and C&S disciplines, manage subcontractors, and oversee site teams.

The role requires strong QA/QC knowledge, safety compliance, and the ability to read construction drawings and method statements. A 4–5 year background in construction is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Management or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Strong experience in managing M&E / C&S construction works.
• Able to manage subcontractors, consultants and site teams.
• Good knowledge of project planning, progress monitoring, QA/QC and site coordination.
• Familiar with safety requirements and relevant authority regulations.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and method statements.

• Manage and supervise overall construction activities on site.
• Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specifications, programme and quality requirements.
• Coordinate M&E, C&S and other relevant disciplines.
• Monitor project progress and subcontractor performance.
• Resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and project schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
