Job summary

Oglaend System Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer to support and manage FRP and Pultrusion manufacturing operations in Shah Alam. You will focus on safe, efficient production while achieving quality, productivity, and delivery targets and driving continuous improvement.

You will troubleshoot Pultrusion processes, monitor KPIs like OEE, OTD, yield, and scrap, plan daily activities, coordinate with suppliers, lead trials, and prepare performance reports.

Qualifications

• Chemical engineering with production experience in composite manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of FRP & Pultrusion manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of composite materials, resins, and fiberglass reinforcement systems.
• Experience in production planning and manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly production performance reports
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Analyze process and quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Train and guide operators to improve productivity and manufacturing performance
