Job summary

iFAST Corporation is seeking an Assistant Manager, Compliance and Risk Management in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves developing and maintaining compliance policies, advising senior management on regulatory matters, and monitoring regulatory developments to ensure adherence to laws and internal standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3–5 years of compliance experience in financial services, and strong communication skills in English (Mandarin is a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of compliance experience in financial services or capital markets.
• Knowledge of capital market laws and regulatory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Provide compliance advisory and support to Senior Management and business units.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate updates to employees.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, surveillance, and testing.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to regulators (SC Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia, Bank Negara Malaysia).
• Prepare and present compliance reports to Senior Management, Risk Committee, and Board.
