Job summary

OCBC Malaysia invites applications for a Business Compliance Officer to help ensure regulatory compliance and integrity across bank operations. You will work with diverse stakeholders to identify risks and implement effective controls, while supporting learning and development initiatives in a collaborative team environment.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Law or Business with 3–5 years of compliance experience, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills to engage

Qualifications

• A degree in Law, Business, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in compliance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess compliance risks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and compliance

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to identify potential risks and control gaps
• Collaborate with business units to develop and implement effective compliance controls and procedures
• Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance policies and procedures
• Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure the bank's operations are compliant
• Develop and maintain compliance reports and dashboards to track key metrics and performance indicators
